FAAP Team Member Introduction

We're pleased to introduce Tana of Prairie Primitives!

Here's what she has to say on her Etsy Shop "About" page:

"I've been creating antique-inspired folk art since 1990. Working from my Northern California studio, which is both smoke-free and pet-free, I sell here on Etsy, at antique and craft fairs in Sacramento and Silicon Valley, and wholesale to several dozen gift shops across the country (and one shop in Japan!).

I love using bits of antique quilts in my creations. I also use scraps of worn-out handwoven coverlets and hand-crocheted lace, vintage buttons, and other antique & vintage sewing room treasures that I find at local estate sales.

My creations have been featured in the Mainte Antiques Digest (September 2011), The Country House catalog, and in a Japanese magazine article about Nantucket Country,
a gift shop in Kobe, Japan."

Antique Quilt Pillow

You'll find an assortment of Pillows, Tucks, Hangers, and Bowl Fillers hand crafted from vintage quilts and other textiles to accent your home decor!

Bay Leaf Garland with Pomegranates

Hang this bay leaf garland above your fireplace, on the knobs of a cupboard drawer, or in your favorite nook. Bay leaves, quince & pods are strung together on this garland. The bay leaf section measures 28" long and the black & mustard homespun ties on each end allow it to adjust so it measures up to 40" long!

Check out Tana's Facebook page for upcoming events, craft shows, and new items. Visit her other Etsy Shops at http://prairieprimitivestoo.etsy.com and http://moonlightartist.etsy.com.

Thank you for visiting today and be sure to go show some love to Prairie Primitives!!!

I've begun to develop Halloween overload ... so I'm beginning to think about Winter things, which is reallllly hard to do when it's 95 degrees outside. LOL!
