This week's new member introduction

Folkart & Primitives is pleased to introduce another Etsy Team Member, this week we'd like you to meet Becky of Tennessee Holler Folk Art!

Here's what Becky has to say on her Etsy Shop "About" page: "I am the former owner of Tennessee Ridge Primitives..I started that business from the bottom in 2003 and worked my butt off till around 2010...I got to a point where I had NO inspiration, no time...with 2 kids, both teenagers, it was hard to keep up. So I decided to sell my business and start another one.....I needed a new, FRESH start.....Something that still expresses who I am in my work, but I wanted to start a new adventure...I will still be making folk art primitive grungy style things! It is what I LOVE to do....And I am back.....Same Becky Erickson you all know :) Just a new business name! So welcome to The Holler!!!! There is LOTS more to come"

Grungy Pumpkin Patch In An Antique Cheese Box Lamp

This is a THFA Becky Erickson original design! There are 5 pumpkins in the lamp and one that is just sitting beside the lamp....just an added extra! The pumpkins are made out of dirty painted muslin and they each have a real stick for their stem. An olde crow is perched on a stick inside the lamp. He is also made out of dirty painted muslin with hand sculpted beak and eyes. Lots of moss and pip berries are arranged inside the lighted vintage cheese box along with some preserved Sweet Annie to finish it off.
