Please welcome Michelle of Monday's Child Primitives!
Here's what she says on her Etsy Shop About Page:
"Hello. My name is Michelle and I have been crafting for over 20 years. It wasn't until recently that I got into making prims but I am totally hooked! I love primitives because they have a much-loved and time-worn appearance and they evoke feelings of a simpler, gentler time. Among other things, my hobbies and interests include cooking, baking, sewing, and gardening--all things that were necessities to our foremothers 100 years ago!
I live in southeast Michigan where my husband and I were both raised. I started my shop over a year ago with the help of our baby "Peanut", our then 12-year old Cairn Terrier. She has sadly crossed the Rainbow Bridge but lives on in our hearts. Pebbles, our female Cairn pup is following in her big sister's footsteps helping out in the shop:) My husband Tom and I are both from very close-knit families and we have a large number of nieces and nephews. We recently put some of my work into a great little shop up there as well."
Rustic Wooden Sign
Monday's Child Primitives offers handmade primitive wood crafts. This beautiful sign was hand made from pine, sanded smooth, painted and stenciled before being stained and sealed. Michelle's attention to detail gives this sign a slightly weathered and worn look that is perfect for primitive decorating!
Primitive Homespun Star Bowl Fillers
You'll also find beautiful fabric items at Monday's Child Primitives. From soft sculpture dolls and bowl fillers to hand crocheted wash clothes and stitchery pillows, there is a wide variety of items to choose from.
