Cranberry Relish

Thanksgiving is fast approaching. 

Here is a recipe that has been a tradition at our table.

You will need:

1 box (3 oz) red jello - any flavor 
1 1/2 cups of water - boiling
1 bag of fresh cranberries, rinsed and picked through
1 apple - peeled and seeded
1 small can crushed pineapple - drain and reserve the juice
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 lb seedless grapes

Dissolve the jello in the boiled water and set in refrigerator until slightly set.

In a food processor, place the fresh cranberries, apple and grapes.  Pulse till blended and yet there is texture.   Do not over blend.   Add the drained crushed pineapple and sugar, mix well.

Once the jello is slightly set, add all the fruits.  Fold into the jello and place back into the refrigerator until set.
